Dariusz Gzyra

A PhD candidate at the Institute of Philosophy and Social Studies, Pedagogical University of Cracow. A columnist and a social activist. He focuses on the topics of bioethics, human relations with animals, and aesthetics. He is the Director of the Student Section of Polish Ethics Association. A member of the Laboratory of Animal Studies – Third Culture at the Faculty of Philology, the University of Silesia. A scientific editor of the animal rights ethics desk of the interdisciplinary academic yearly ZoophilologicaPolish Journal of Animal Studies. He ccoperates with the Filozofuj! magazine. He wrote a number of articles devoted to the ethics of human-animal relations published in journals and monographs. He co-authored a book Filozofia wobec świata zwierząt (Philosophy and the Animal World).
