Professor at the Institute of Mechatronics and Information Systems, a specialist in databases, warehousing, data mining, and of semi-structural data processing (Big Data). Since 2012 Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering at Lodz University of Technology. Author of 4 books and over 100 publications. Member of the Scientific Committee of the IEEE International Conference Beyond Databases, Architectures and Structures BDAS. Propagator of science among young people.
